Our Popcorn Recruiters Academy was held from January 24th – 28th.
Our presenters Erma Andrić, Gorana Ferizović, Vildana Deljkić Velasco, and Šejla Hajrić had an opportunity to get to know 25 ambitious individuals, who were more than eager to participate, discuss, and share their experiences.
The aim of this four-day event was to gather students, recent graduates, and even current recruiters and HR specialists who have a desire to expand their knowledge and build their careers in the recruitment industry.
Through interactive presentations and quizzes, the participants had an opportunity to gain insight into full-cycle recruitment, what is it like to conduct an interview, build Boolean strings, write an agency brief, build their personal brand, and use recruitment marketing to their advantage.
Even though the Academy was held online, it was very engaging and quite helpful. At least, that’s what our participants say!

The training was great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge on sourcing and recruiting. As someone who has been in recruiting industry for the past 2 years I can safely say that this training was a nice refreshment.
Personally the marketing portion of the training was my favorite and most insightful since I was not very familar with that aspect of recruiting. Thank you again and I will definitely use this knowledge in my work and future endeavors.

A lot of the things I learned at the training were totally new to me, and I found it quite interesting and useful. From the concise presentations, to the responsive and knowledgeable lecturers (and them answering all of our questions!) and to the final test – everything felt interactive and helpful in pushing me further towards thinking about a career in recruitment.

Even though training lasted only four days it was very detailed and useful. A young team provided loads of new information and they were very open for communication and any possible questions.
Since the COVID situation is not that good in our city this had to be held online yet team exceeded my expectations. I believe that in the future this training will be live so there will be even better results. Overall great experience I was happy to participate and learn something new.

The training was well planned out, as well as the topics that were presented. I feel that this training is a foundation to build on in a sense that we covered the necessary basics on recruitment in general. The boolean searching is something I never researched in depth so learning about it during the training was something of a must. It was also interesting to hear more about the connection between recruitment and marketing.
The speakers were all great at explaining everything and sometimes when I thought I had a question they were already giving the answer in their presentation.
The Popcorn Recruiters Academy training will benefit all who complete it, whether they work in recruitment or not, and I think that we could have used more time and touch on more topics because I wanted to hear even more.

I would like to emphasize the ability, dedication and commitment of all lecturers. They really presented a large amount of complex information, and simplified it as much as possible, with the maximum use of the time they had at their disposal. Also, during the training the atmosphere was relaxed, and all suggestions, comments and questions of the participants were taken into account.
During this training, I really learned a lot of new things, from the recruitment process itself, which requires the application of various skills and abilities, to the role of marketing, which is really important for the recruitment process. The knowledge gained at Popcorn Recruiters Academy is really applicable in practice.

Firstly, I appreciate the opportunity. The training sessions were well prepared and organized.
Secondly, they were structured, from the first introductory lecture to the last one – the assessment. That’s why I wasn’t overwhelmed with new data.
Thirdly, you were patient and didn’t mind answering the same questions two or three times. You encouraged us to ask questions. You put emphasis on interactive approach to teaching. Day 2 was my favorite because I have learned a lot. However, other sessions were as valuable as this one.
Lastly, I think this academy will help me in my career. I can see myself working in this field. I can also adapt previously acquired skills and knowledge and test them in a new environment. Kudos to you! Thank you for your work and effort.
